Campground Rules
By renting a site at Hickory Lake Campground, you agree to abide by these rules, designed to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all of our guests.
Your Campsite
Check-in and check-out is 2 p.m.
One RV or tent is allowed per site (exceptions can be made for one small child’s tent). Only one vehicle may be parked on each campsite. Boats, boat trailers, and additional vehicles must be parked in overflow parking.
To help curb the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer, firewood may not be brought into the campground. DNR-approved firewood is available for purchase and delivery at the campground store.
Cutting of trees, brush, or other vegetation is not allowed. Do not move or remove the fire ring.
Safety
The speed limit on all roads and at all times is 5 mph. Please drive very carefully and watch for children! No bike riding after dark.
Children must be supervised on the beach, at the pool, or on the docks. They must return to sites by 10 p.m.
Jet skis, ATVs, motorized bikes, and large motorized or remote control toys are not allowed on the campground property.
Firearms are not permitted on the campground property. Fireworks are not allowed, except in designated areas on the Fourth of July.
Pets
Allowed pets include cats and non-aggressive breed dogs. Any damage or injuries caused by a pet is the owner’s sole responsibility. We reserve the right to refuse entry of a pet.
Pets may not be left alone on sites or in campers. They must be leashed at all times, and you must clean up after your pet. Cleanup bags are available in two locations at the campground. Pets are not allowed in any building, the pool enclosure, or on the beach, docks, or playground areas.
Swimming Pool
The pool is open from noon to sundown. Proper swimming attire must be worn, including swim diapers for children not toilet trained. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult inside the pool enclosure. Food, glass, or large flotation items are not allowed in the pool area.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed in any building, on any public deck, or on the docks, beach, volleyball court, pool enclosure, and playground. Please be considerate of your fellow guests and try to smoke only within your site and properly dispose of cigarette butts.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Violators will be asked to leave and will not be refunded.
Visitors
All visitors must register at the office and pay the appropriate visitor fees. Visitors must also abide by these rules, and day visitors should leave by 10 p.m.
